Terms of Service

Last updated: 10 August 2026

These terms are an agreement between you (and the organisation you act for) and EngGenius, the operator of Pulse CRM ("Pulse", "the service"). By creating an account or using Pulse you accept them.

1. The service

Pulse is a customer relationship management platform for businesses: pipeline tracking, contact management, AI-assisted writing and research, email and SMS outreach, and public contact cards. Features may be added, changed or retired as the product evolves; we won't remove a core capability from a paid plan mid-billing-period without notice.

2. Accounts and organisations

3. Plans, allowances and fair use

Pulse offers a free plan and paid plans. Each plan includes monthly allowances for metered features (for example AI credits and text messages). Different AI actions use different numbers of credits; the cost is shown in the app before you run an action, and a run that fails is not charged. Allowances reset each calendar month and don't roll over. We may adjust free-plan allowances with reasonable notice; paid-plan allowances won't be reduced mid-billing-period. Automated, scripted or resold use of the service — and creating multiple organisations to circumvent allowances — is not permitted.

4. Promotional offers and gifts

From time to time we run promotions, for example claim codes offering a period of raised allowances at no charge. The offer itself states what those allowances are; they are not necessarily the same as a paid plan. Unless the offer states otherwise: one promotional claim per organisation; codes are single-use, non-transferable, have an expiry date and no cash value; and when a promotional period ends the organisation moves to the free plan automatically — your data stays exactly where it is. We may withdraw promotional codes that are shared publicly or used fraudulently.

5. Your data and content

The data your team puts into Pulse belongs to your organisation. You grant us permission to host and process it only as needed to run the service. We never sell it or use it to train AI models. You can export your data at any time; on account deletion we remove it as described in our Privacy Policy.

6. Acceptable use — outreach in particular

Pulse includes tools for contacting people. You are responsible for using them lawfully, including under the UK GDPR, the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations (PECR), and the equivalent laws of any country you contact — several, including Germany, require prior consent for B2B marketing email. You must not use Pulse to send spam or unlawful marketing, harass anyone, distribute malware, or contact people who have opted out. We may suspend accounts that generate abuse complaints, unusual sending patterns, or apparent breaches of this section.

7. AI features

AI-generated drafts and research are suggestions, produced by a language model. Review them before sending or relying on them — they can be wrong, and they're sent under your name, not ours. You're responsible for what you send.

8. Paid subscriptions

9. Availability and support

We aim for high availability but Pulse is provided "as is", without warranties of uninterrupted or error-free operation. We back up data regularly, but you should keep exports of anything critical. Support is provided by email on a reasonable-endeavours basis.

10. Liability

Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited (including for fraud, or death or personal injury caused by negligence). Otherwise, our total liability in any 12-month period is capped at the fees your organisation paid us in that period — or £100 if you're on the free plan — and we are not liable for indirect losses such as lost profits, lost business or lost data beyond our backup obligations.

11. Suspension and termination

You may close your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these terms, create risk for other users or the platform, or where the law requires. Where reasonable, we'll warn you first and give you the chance to export your data.

12. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the service evolves. For material changes we'll email account owners at least 14 days before they take effect. Continuing to use Pulse after that date means you accept the updated terms.

13. Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction — though nothing prevents either of us seeking injunctive relief elsewhere.
